Charleston, South Carolina—where cobblestone streets meet centuries old architecture and Southern charm. It was in this historic city that Paige and Matt said their vows in a celebration as timeless as the town itself.
The day began at the beautiful Loutrel Hotel located near Market Street. This is where the bride and her bridesmaids got ready while enjoying champagne and getting pampered by Stephanie with Just Blushed Artistry (Harlow Salon) for hair and makeup. Just down the elevator and into the charming lobby/lounge of the Loutrel, the guys shared laughs over drinks at the bar with quiet moments of reflection before the ceremony. Paige and Matt decided to have a first look so we walked one block over to one of the multiple cute alley ways you will find in Charleston to have some privacy. Matt was overcome with emotion and could not believe the beauty that stood before him that he would soon call his wife.
The couple chose Poogan's Courtyard, a quant and charming event venue located in the French Quarters area of downtown Charleston, to have the reception and ceremony. Paige was escorted down the aisle by her beautiful mom, Tricia. Paige was in a stunning white floral embellished gown, her smile mirrored by Matt’s as he tried to hold back the tears of happiness while he waited at the altar. The ceremony was led by Paige's brother in law, Mello. The intricate florals details provided by Country and Lace.
After the heartfelt "I do’s," guests immediately entered the reception area within the Poogan's Courtyard venue that was classically decorated by Jacqueline with Peper Events. White florals, lush greenery and hundreds of white lit candles illuminated the room. The evening unfolded with candlelit dining, Lowcountry cuisine, and dancing with DJ Jayson with Dream Day Weddings. Charleston weddings have a way of weaving history, beauty, and love into something unforgettable. Paige and Matt's day was no exception.
