I met this beautiful soul, Shawntae, when I had a small elopement session with her sister. She came along to be a second hand and carrier of all things. Shawntae reached out to me shortly after her sister's session and said she was just so impressed how the photos turned out, for one, but also since she was actually there to witness how I interacted with her sister and new brother in law she said she knew she would feel comfortable with me. She shared that she has had a weight loss journey but also when she was a teenager she went to a VERY dark place mentally. She has come a long way in her personal relationship with God and she is very thankful and blessed to have made it to 44. She hopes that her story will be a beacon of light to others that have struggled with mental health as well as weight loss.

She did not want anything crazy added - just her and her radiant self. She did mention she had ordered a crown, however, it did not come in time - Girl I got you. She mentioned she had a few scars on her legs - girl I got you. She mentioned she was a little self conscious about her body in general - girl I got you. She mentioned she wasn't sure what poses would look good for her and feels like she may be awkward - girl I got you.
