Mommy and Me

MOmmy and me studio session

Coming from a mother with three children I know how much I love photos of them and, God forbid, GOOD photos of you together with them haha! I also know how infrequently we have photos of JUST us with our children as we are usually the ones behind the camera. So a new favorite thing on the menu has been the Mommy and Me sessions. I have done them both outdoors and indoors in the studio.

This particular session is super special as Kayla, the mom, is one of my brides from 2022! We had planned on doing a maternity session but little baby Cal had other plans and came super early. Baby Cal spent some time in the NICU and had a rough road to start but through many prayers and the grace of God he is now spry as he can be! Though we did do some family photos that included his big brother and sister, Joel, Kayla's husband, knew she wanted to get some photos of just the two of them. So Joel reached out to me before Mother's Day and wanted to gift Kayla a Mommy and Me Session - GO JOEL!!!!

When Kayla reached out to me to set up her session I had just gotten the cutest egg chair from my sister in law and I also have been growing my client closet - so I asked her if she would be willing to use both and she said "I trust the process!" - words I love to hear! So needless to say the session turned out fantastic - Kayla was gorgeous and baby Cal was a cute as could be - and so many mom's reached out wanting the same set up so that gave me the idea to host Mommy and Me mini sessions. So be on the look out for them!
